Sfera Technologies and Pekasat to cooperate on ground segment operations and software development
Pekasat and Sfera Technologies signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate in the field of ground segment operations and software development. The companies will cooperate in developing a new generation of ground services. Through Sfera Technologies’ versatile ground station platform, HomePort, the companies will streamline antenna capacity sharing within the upcoming HomePort beta pilot program. Pekasat provides its antennas and equipment for testing and deployment of the HomePort beta pilot program and both companies will work together on modifications and additional features to Pekasat’s own software Skycoor.
